Shhhh....
I'm supposed to be the Legal Fiction shepherd today, so don't tell anyone you saw me over here. Just wanted to update some of the Wampum goings on. They just released the field of semi-finalists for the 2004 Blog Awards and, lo and behold, there are a couple of familiar names.
First up, in the category of best commenter is interim TIA president Johnnybutter (sic) (commenting on Legal Fiction, TIA, Science and Politics amongst others). They didn't spell the name right (should read Jonnybutter), but hey, it's the thought that counts.
Also nominated in the same category is the man who needs no introduction - no really you've seen him before somewhere - Praktike (commenting on Daily Kos, Needlenose, Liberals Against Terrorism). Those are the only blogs listed, but his presence extends far beyond those three.
They are both so deserving, I can't really say one way or the other (kind of like the reverse of voting in a US presidential election). Split your votes accordingly.
And it wouldn't be right if I didn't include a little shameless plug. My post, entitled Freedom Fighters, is still standing in the category of Best Post, and could use the support. But if you insist on shunning TIA, give Publius a nod for his post "Progressivism" at Legal Fiction. So raise your blue finger, point, click and unleash your avalanche of votes in the comments section at Wampum.
