Katrina Relief
Stygius has clued me into a worthy effort undertaken by the left side of the blogosphere: raise $1 million for the Red Cross to provide some form of relief from the unthinkable destruction and suffering caused by Katrina. The sidebar contains the link. I say, let's all pitch in and make this happen. There are so many reasons to contribute that I don't need to list them.
And for the record, everyone's favorite denizen of New Orleans is safe and sound, lucky to have evacuated with his family to the friendly confines of Daytona Beach, Florida. Wish him well.
