Turnabout Is Fair Play
I've been tagged for jury duty - or at least must show up at the courthouse the next three days and wait around to see if I actually get selected. On the plus side, there's a general reluctance to empanel lawyers. Neither side welcomes that prospect for fear that the lawyer/juror will be trying the case themselves in their own minds as the trial proceeds. Better to have jurors less predisposed to meddlesome thinking - or so the conventional wisdom goes.
So blogging may be light until Thursday, but at least I'll catch up on my reading.
